Frequently Asked Questions
Do GellyBalls hurt? Everyone has their own pain tolerance and some might feel a slight sting when shot at close range, something similar to being flicked by an elastic band. In the majority of cases, GellyBall is not painful, but if you have concerns, wear longer clothing or additional layers.
What kind of events is GellyBall good for? GellyBall is an exciting game perfect for birthdays or other parties, family events, business functions, youth groups, or just to have fun with friends.
How old do I need to be to play? GellyBall is a perfect game for all ages and we provide a variety of different team-player games made for ages 5 and up.
Who monitors the games? Unlike many other drop-off activities, we stay onsite the whole time. Our referees will: Set-up the playing field, run all the games, engage with the players and clean up our gear at the end. This will be a stress-free activity for you, allowing you to enjoy the fun! Please note: We are not responsible for supervising minors. For events with minors, a parent/guardian or responsible adult will need to be present and in visual contact of the playing field at all times.
Does Everyone Need a Waiver? Yes. Our waiver ensures you understand the possible risks associated with GellyBall. We can provide both physical waivers or electronic waivers for signature. We'll keep your waiver on file electronically for one year for any future participation. Minors MUST have a parent or guardian sign a waiver on their behalf before they will be allowed to play.
What should I bring or wear? Players should wear closed-toe shoes. Players should wear clothes appropriate for the weather and season while allowing the greatest range of movement. Keep in mind that play may include kneeling, crouching or laying on the ground, so players should dress appropriately to protect themselves and not be concerned if clothing is stained, ripped or ruined.
Can I Bring Food or Celebrate a Birthday? Of course! There is a 10-15 minute break between game sessions that is perfect for sharing a light meal/snack or dessert with your guests. However, we suggest to keeping it simple & light - Running around with a full stomach isn't always the best combination.
